]]> Kiri Dillon & Dave Phillipps (Lincoln High School) have spent the last 4 years teaching Statistics in a Flexible learning environment that is shared by multiple Mathematics and Statistics classes. The collaboration between students, staff, and classes are now having a big impact on statistics learning and thinking. Kiri and Dave looked at how their environment is being used to develop statistical thinkers and independence at Lincoln High students.

Participants heard ideas about sharing the load, being flexible, using enticements, engaging in the data and making links, and how to encourage and promote high level statistical thinking.
